Yoga is so much more than just physical exercise. Sri Sri Yoga draws on a rich history to provide a comprehensive depth and breadth of authentic yoga teachings and practices. A Sri Sri Yoga practice is multidimensional, and includes traditional asanas (postures), simple pranayamas (breathing techniques), guided meditation, and the traditional wisdom of yoga, which offers guidance on living a fully blossomed life.


Nurturing Approach

Experience a non-judgemental atmosphere in which you can push yourself without competing and find your own edge of stretching without pain. Without focusing too much on physical prowess and flexibility, students in Sri Sri Yoga are encouraged towards self-acceptance and individual definitions of success as they gradually increase their capability.


Unique Classes

Each Sri Sri yoga class is designed by the teacher to deliver a unique experience and focus. While all classes include breath work, yoga asana, and self-study (svadyaya), and an overall methodology informs them, teachers are encouraged to develop their own sequences and approaches to individual classes and series.

    Krishan Verma, Yogacharya, Yogashiromani, E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, YACEP, has been a student of yoga for 35 years and a teacher for 20, and has taught tens of thousands of people. Through his mastery of yoga, knowledge, and teaching methodology, Krishan brings out the highest potential in his students and ensures that each student experiences the effortless union of body, mind, and spirit.

  • Dr. Bharti Verma

    Dr. Bharti Verma, MA, MD, CCFP, E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, is a physician by training with over 30 years of experience in family medicine. Her passions for health, learning, and spirituality have led to the integration of her knowledge of yoga with her experience in medicine. Dr. Verma serves on the faculty of the Sri Sri School of Yoga, teaching Anatomy and Physiology.

  • Kamlesh Barwal

    Kamlesh Barwal, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, is Director of the Sri Sri School of Yoga, training yoga teachers and coordinating the global network of Sri Sri Yoga teachers. Kamlesh has completed the advanced level 500-hour teacher training program through Yoga Alliance, and holds the high distinction of being a recipient of the Vishalakshi Award for Contribution to Yoga. Kamlesh is also an international trainer with the Art of Living Foundation.

  • Jennifer Stevenson

    Jennifer Stevenson, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, has more than 9 years of experience delivering yoga, meditation, self-development, and leadership training programs internationally. She currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson on the Board of Directors for the Sri Sri School of Yoga in North America, responsible for strategy and operations and serving as a faculty team member for the teacher training program. Jennifer is accredited with Yoga Alliance as an advanced [eliminate comma] 500-hour teacher.
