Living Your Life in Devotion

Are you ready for a deeper experience of life?

Connect with the spirituality of the human heart – and with the Divine – through the yoga of devotion (bhakti yoga), and the soul-stirring sounds of kirtan.

On this uplifting and enriching immersion, Grammy-nominated composer and ecstatic vocalist, Jai Uttal will teach you how to step into a life of devotion and wholeness.

Using sacred Indian music, vibrant storytelling and group chanting, you will discover:

· How your emotions become the fuel to reconnect you with wholeness and with yourself, on the bhakti journey

· How singing kirtan allows you to explore, express and share the most profound depths of your soul

· How to tap into the eternal springs of love as you chant the ancient Sanskrit names of the Divine

· How to come to self-acceptance and embrace the rhythm and bliss of sacred music

You will take away an experiential understanding of how to bring the gift of devotion into your daily life, and you’ll know how to use the art of chanting as a form of meditation and a mode of connection.

Open to all.

Jai Uttal is a Grammy-nominated sacred music composer, a recording artist, multi-instrumentalist and ecstatic vocalist. He blends Indian influences with American rock and jazz to create a stimulating and exotic fusion known as world spirit music. For Jai, music and spiritual practice are inextricably linked; earlier in his life he learnt the power of kirtan from the Indian saint Neem Karoli Baba, and he now practices, performs and teaches kirtan and sacred music around the world. Free yourself from the suffering of the past!

Many people are deeply challenged with forgiveness issues leaving them feeling stuck, hurting and unable to move on.

Jennifer Hadley has been teaching forgiveness since 2000 and has helped thousands of people to forgive, move on and feel free of the past.

Join us in the serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains and together, with like-minded souls, you will learn how to free yourself from limited thinking and beliefs, surrender the blocks to love, activate self-love, self-worth and self-compassion and ultimately experience deep, true and lasting forgiveness. Discover how to activate more joy in your life and break the habit of complaining and judging. Start to move from studying spirituality to actually living it and begin to forgive that which has seemed unforgivable so you can move on. Experience a weekend of healing, laughter and fun!

Return home with a deep sense of having laid the burden down and the ability to handle everyday occurrences with more love and compassion.

You’ll be amazed when you stop investing your precious energy in old hurts how you can have all that energy back to invest in LOVE!

The retreat will be of interest to spiritual students of all kinds and all faiths and of particular interest to anyone in the therapeutic community who might be helping people to forgive.

Jennifer can assist anyone who would like to receive CEUs for this program.

Jennifer Hadley has led over 50,000 spiritual seekers to unlock the secret of becoming more successful and helping more of the people they want to serve. Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive

September 12, 2018

Deeply transformative, heart-centred training

Wouldn’t you LOVE to be able to facilitate people making real changes and having lasting healing?

Some coaching, psychology, and ministerial programs teach only intellectual practices. They teach formulas and strategies. But a truly healing therapy session is all about being able to be in your heart and meet your client from that space.

When you come at people from the intellect, it often creates more judgment and prolongs suffering for both you and them. You might be able to seem to achieve a temporary fix, but that just delays real healing.  When you approach your clients from a spiritual, heart centered place, you open the opportunity for true, lasting transformation and that’s what people desire – real change.

Whether you’re already a licensed therapist, counselor, healer, practitioner, teacher, minister or still studying, this intensive training will assist you to increase your feelings of confidence and your success in working with clients. You will be able to support your clients in moving out of pain, into living miraculous lives and making their dreams come true.

Taking the Spiritual Counseling Intensive was the best decision of my life.
The transformations I experienced were life changing.

Lorri Gifford, Coach

This Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive program is a multi-layered, thorough and profoundly deep, rigorous training for those who would like to become masterful at Spiritual Counseling. This includes opening up your intuition, healing your life, and becoming truly masterful. For most of us this is something we achieve over many years of deep inner work, training and study, however, this training will help you speed up the process so you can be truly helpful to others sooner.

A warning about using GPS!

We do not recommend using your GPS for driving directions, as many roads are incorrectly marked in the navigation system and inputting our address will take you on a wild ride. Instead, we recommend using Google maps (above). Many prefer to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway route only May through October since the road closes often in winter.

Spiritual Counseling Training Intensive

By Support
September 10, 2018

Overview

Silent Retreat

By AOLRC
August 19, 2018

Overview

A Mystic Journey Within

The Silent Retreat provides optimal conditions for going deep within, quieting mental chatter, and experiencing profound rest and inner silence. The practice of silence — of consciously withdrawing energy and attention from outer distraction — has been used in different traditions throughout time as a pathway to physical, mental, and spiritual renewal.

This program combines the Happiness Retreat and several days of silent contemplation with unique guided meditations as well as advanced breathing techniques. The first two days include various talking processes, which actually deepen your experience of silence. You will also take home a beautiful practice to sustain inner quiet and peace in daily life.

Why take 3-4 days out of your busy life for a meditation retreat?

These few days make the rest of your year more alive, productive and full of energy. When you emerge, you feel recharged and refreshed, ready to take on all your responsibilities with greater focus and joy.

  • Get much-needed rest in an all-inclusive guided retreat
  • Go deeper with advanced guided meditations, silent inquiry and rejuvenating yoga
  • Emerge rejuvenated

Your whole stay is carefully guided and crafted to give you as relaxing and transformative an experience possible. There’s morning yoga, nature walks in the mountains, delicious plant-based dining and a supportive atmosphere for your inner journey. It’s no wonder that many course participants refer to it as the ideal vacation for body, mind, and spirit.

What People Are Saying:

I have been to other silent retreats… but basically, we were just silent and did our own thing, with optional classes we could attend throughout the day. But what we did here is so much more. What you guys offer is a full curriculum—the guided meditations, the service, the wisdom, the music—all of this took me on a journey far deeper than I thought possible.” — Silent Retreat participant

I feel more like myself after the Silence Retreat. My life goes smoother after it, and I feel the difference for a good 3-6 months.” — Daniel Moss

It was very, very powerful. I gained such a sense of calm, more than I ever could have imagined.” — Max Goldberg, livingmaxwell.com

August 19, 2018

Overview

Rest in your Infinite Nature
What could be better than an annual silence retreat?
Perhaps a silence retreat in an awesome setting of natural silence, incredible beauty and peace…
The Art of Living Silence Retreat in Boone, offered for a minimum of two and a half days, provides optimal conditions for going deep within, quieting our mental chatter, and experiencing profound rest and inner silence. This course builds upon the Sudarshan Kriya® breathing technique offered in the Art of Living Happiness Program.
The practice of silence – of consciously withdrawing our energy and attention from outer distractions – has been used in different traditions throughout time as a pathway to physical, mental, and spiritual renewal. By participating in various course processes specifically designed to take us beyond our usually active minds, we experience an extraordinary sense of peace and renewed vitality that we carry home with us and into daily lives.
You will also have time to explore the grounds of the center and the surrounding mountain pathways.

Experiences

“Every moment doing the advance course was a new experience for me: the meditation and the silence.”

— Nita R

” I cannot directly pin point it, but definitely there is a big change from before and after going to the part-2 course. I feel I have become a new person, so I say that the part-2 course has been the starting point of my new self. The new me is very comfortable. I feel blessed and very happy. Actually, I feel very lucky to come across a course like this. Thank you for giving such an opportunity.”

— Shoko
