Overview

Interweave Conscious Dance® is the practice of weaving body, mind, heart and spirit into the present moment with love. A workshop for men and women that includes energy visualization, moving meditation, intentional free-style dance, group interactions, journal writing, and rest for the purpose of healing and celebrating the many aspects of ourselves. As we release self-judgment and mental noise, we open to the divine energy that flows through us. Along with this comes poignant discoveries for our own healing and the healing of the planet. A body journey that is both grounding and ecstatic, Interweave puts transformation into practice by dissolving barriers both within and without to bring us into connected wholeness. You will leave with an open heart and gain a clearer sense of self, a greater trust in humanity, and healing tools to listen and integrate the many aspects of being human.

With over 30 years of movement experience along with the study and practice of meditation, chakra therapy, Focusing®, Jungian shadows and archetypes, and spiritual embodiment, Katie has developed a form said by some to be the next 5 Rhythms. Learn more here

About the Teacher

Katie Wells is a dynamic soul with extensive experience in dance performance, yoga, meditation, university teaching, workshops, and studio teaching. Katie has a Masters Degree in Dance and is currently on the dance faculty at Radford University in Virginia. She brings with her over 30 years of movement experience crafted along with psychology and spirituality into Interweave Conscious Dance®. More
