Ayurveda’s healing wisdom emphasizes the natural wellness of the inner and outer body. It has many important and useful treatments and practices that can help women find their body’s rhythm, support prenatal and postnatal reproductive health, and manage changes in the body from puberty to menopause.

“We learn all kinds of things in mainstream education, but we do not learn how to take care of our bodies.” –Kim Rossi

In this program, you’ll explore

  • The physiological, emotional, and spiritual dynamics of womanhood
  • Detoxification to improve skin conditions, regulate bowels, aid digestion
  • Stress, female hormones, and their role in woman’s positive health
  • How to achieve hormonal balance and improve menstrual health
  • Breast care
  • Menopause management
  • Skincare
  • The role of diet on mental and physical health
  • Holistic self-care practices.

The practices of Ayurveda focus on balancing body, mind, and spirit. They include disciplines such as massage, meditation, yoga, diet, herbal medicine, nourishing oils, and unique healing treatments that integrate science and nature perfectly. It’s principles are founded on keeping the mind and body in tune with nature—making it the perfect solution for managing weight, the aging process, stress, and more.

Our extraordinary campus, expert faculty, and like-minded community insure a perfect retreat experience—de-stress, rebalance, and reclaim your vibrancy in a relaxing, fun, and informative environment. Once you are in sync with nature the Ayurvedic way, well-being falls into place, naturally.

Kimberly Rossi

Kimberly Rossi has a lifetime of healthy living to share with you. As a young teen, she learned that poor habits lead to poor health, and she made an early choice to follow a healthy lifestyle and became a balance seeker. Her resulting confidence, clarity and openness have created an interesting personal and professional path in health and well-being.

She has completed the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 1998, the Ayurvedic Health Counselor Certification with Kripalu School of Ayurveda in 2004, and the 500-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with the Kundalini Research Institute in Espanola, New Mexico.  More than that, she has a deep daily practice in yoga and meditation for almost twenty years, teaches and shares the wisdom, and continues to be a student. She has a deep gratitude to the Ancient Sciences of yoga, meditation, pranayama, and Ayurveda as she believes these are the secrets for being happy, healthy, and whole.

For more than twenty years, Kim has been leading wellness-based businesses at four and five-star destinations across the country, in Europe, and the Caribbean. Currently, she is the Director of Business Development at the Art of Living Retreat Center and Shankara Ayurveda Spa, in Boone, North Carolina.
