A Mountain Retreat for Balance and Insight

Return your mind, body, and spirit to its natural state of balance through a guided exploration of the beauty and peace of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This retreat invites you to discover how meditation, hiking, flow yoga, and restorative yoga can help you to reconnect with yourself, nature, and others. When you return to a state of mindful living, you can open yourself to new experiences, live life to its fullest, and restore the balance that you need to thrive in your daily life.

 

Program Details

As you reconnect with nature, you are encouraged to explore different paths that lead to balance balance. These paths include:

  • Exploring mindful living through flow yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, and intention setting practices in a peaceful, natural environment.
  • A guided journey into returning balance to your life, by discovering exactly where you are right now. Where are you on your path towards mindfulness? What is making you unbalanced? Is anything missing from your life? These questions will be explored and answered through intention setting practices, so that you can break free from old ways and begin practicing gratitude in your daily life.
  • Connect with nature by hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Discover new ways to center yourself with mindful breathing that will allow you to gain new appreciation for the way your mind, body, and spirit respond to nature’s beauty.

Attending the Bloom in the Blue Ridge Retreat can be your first step towards restoring balance this spring. Bring your worries and troubles, and leave with a sense of mindfulness, peace, and balance. By participating in this retreat, you can learn through yoga, hiking, meditation, and guided discussion how to break free from destructive patterns, so that you can live a life filled with gratitude, mindfulness, and the perfect balance for your life.

Open to everyone looking to explore or deepen their yoga practice.

About the teacher

Romayne spent over 20 years working in the fitness industry from Seattle to Colorado to North Carolina and fell in love with yoga for the mindfulness and balance it brings both on and off the mat. Romayne lives and teaches yoga and Ayurveda together to help restore the sacred connection of body, mind and spirit. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone and if you can breathe and feel, you can do yoga. Romayne completed a 200 hour training program in 2012 and recently completed the 500 hour training in California.

Friday:

3:00pm: Arrival and check-in

4:00pm: Welcome gathering and introductions

4:30pm: Art of Living presentation

5:00pm: Intention setting flow practice

6:30pm: Dinner

7:30pm: Open time for kirtan/journaling/community

Saturday:

6:00am: Sunrise flow yoga

7:30am: Breakfast

8:30am: Leave for hike weather permitting (option to stay for spa services/pottery/mind and meditation class)

12:30pm: Lunch

2:30pm: Intention setting discussion and reflection

4:00pm: Restorative yoga and meditation

6:00pm: Dinner

7:30pm: Open time for kirtan/journaling/community

Sunday:

6:00am: Sunrise flow yoga

7:30am: Breakfast

9:30am: Ayurvedic practices to renew and restore discussion

11:00am: Gratitude yoga practice and meditation

12:30pm: Lunch

1:30pm: Departure
