Description

A comprehensive and insightful Yin Yoga Teacher Training with leading yoga teachers, Brahmani Liebman, MSEd, E-RYT 500 and Jashoda Edmunds, E-RYT 500.

With 40 years of yoga practice, teaching, and studies with master teachers in Yoga, Yin Yoga and Buddhist meditation, Brahmani Liebman and Jashoda Edmunds will share their depth and breadth of knowledge and expertise with you to teach Yin Yoga skillfully and effectively. You will deepen your practice, your teaching, and your experience of life.

The Yin Yoga approach is integrated with yogic and Buddhist philosophies — as well as profound meditative practices — to create a contemplative and energy enhancing exploration of yoga; the body; and the self. Accessible to all ages and stages of life, it provides the possibility for a more open and flexible body, quieter mind along with skillful means to manage life with grace and ease.

The Yin Yoga Teacher Training is Yoga Alliance certified and open to yoga teachers and dedicated students with a minimum of 2 years of practice.

During the training you will:

  • Gain the knowledge, practical skills and the Yoga Alliance certification to teach Yin Yoga

  • Heighten your observational skills

  • Learn appropriate and adaptable modifications for the asanas

  • Learn and practice pranayama techniques to enhance the energy body

  • Explore the energetic anatomy of the meridian, organ, and chakra systems

You will take home the skills to create and teach Yin Yoga classes, and a wealth of experience to draw on for your life and your teaching. You will also receive the Journey into Yoga – Yin Yoga manual and a letter of completion.

Recommended reading: Insight Yoga by Sarah Powers, and YinSights by Bernie Clark.

Open to yoga teachers of any tradition and experienced and sincere practitioners – both with a minimum of two years practice.

CE Credits available for yoga teachers.

Journey into Yoga is a Registered Yoga Alliance 500 hour school.
