Description

Discover how connecting with the natural world can help you achieve greater peace and happiness. Through the ancient arts of wildlife tracking and awareness, we’ll explore fun sensory routines that awaken a deep relationship with the land, the animals, and your own intuition. These practices reach far back into human history and help us remember our intimate belonging on the Earth—especially important now as digital screen time has increased.

Deep connection with nature engages all of the senses, cultivates wonder and curiosity for the natural world, and develops an intimate sense of place. Through inspiring storytelling, engaging outdoor meditations and explorations, story sharing, and experiencing the Art of Questioning to integrate the experiences, you’ll learn core routines of awareness that help you connect with nature wherever you are.

Gift yourself some time to unplug in the outdoors in this engaging workshop with 8 Shields Institute founder Jon Young, author of Coyote’s Guide to Connecting With Nature, and Josh Lane, author of Conscious Nature: The Art and Neuroscience of Meditating In Nature. You’ll return home with a basic framework for how to powerfully support nature connection for yourself and your family and practices you can easily bring into your daily life. Awaken and strengthen your sense of connection with nature to bring more energy, aliveness, and meaning to your life.

This program is open to everyone; all levels, beginners and experienced outdoor enthusiasts alike!
