Description

The ancient yogis understood the connection between posture, breath and emotions.  In this workshop, we will explore how various aspects of the yoga practice effects our mental state and how we can use yoga to help balance our thoughts and emotions.

Rooted in the ancient wisdom of yoga, Iyengar places great focus on alignment and sequencing and features practices to promote holistic health and balance, healing and personal growth.

This immersion will expand your knowledge of the Iyengar lineage and provide a supportive space for you to develop your asana, pranayama and meditative work. As the days progress, you’ll follow a thread of learning in which each practice and philosophy discussion builds on the last—whether you start the retreat as a beginner or seasoned practitioner.

Take home tools, tips, and practice techniques that address and soothe the symptoms of depression and anxiety. By opening your body and centering your mind, you invite balance, calmness, happiness, and vitality into your life!

Yoga students of all levels are welcome; including beginners and yoga teachers.
