Description

When external events compel us to look outward is precisely when we need to examine inwardly. Labyrinths have been used worldwide for over 4,000 years for many purposes—they represent pilgrimages, symbols of a journey both inward and outward. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth is not a problem to be solved. There are no decisions to be made. You just experience a walking meditation knowing the path will take you safely to the center and when you are ready, lead you back out into the world.

Join Terry Price, Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator, for a special weekend of joy and discovery away from the noise and distractions of the world. Through teaching and sharing presentations, mindful labyrinth walking, and reflective journaling, you’ll:

  • Learn the history and uses of the labyrinth as both a pilgrimage and walking meditation that can deepen and expand spiritual and creative practices
  • Discover new ways to incorporate the labyrinth as a tool for a creative life
  • Experience walks in different ways with different intentions designed to help you find what works best for you
  • Establish your own practice, and find labyrinths in your area and around the world.

Find your breath, find your center, and find your rhythm through the labyrinth. You’ll emerge better equipped to creatively reconnect with the divinity within, the divinity around us, and the divinity in the world.

Items to Bring: A journal and comfortable attire for walking (walking shoes, layers, and light jacket).

For everyone, no previous labyrinth experience necessary. Finger labyrinths will be available for attendees who are not able to physically walk a labyrinth, as well as a canvas indoor labyrinth in case of inclement weather or if it’s your personal preference.
