Join enlightening yoga training educator Sheila Ewers for this intensive yoga training immersion that will bring you 80 hours of credits toward your 200-hour certification of becoming a skillful and soulful yoga teacher.

 

You will gain wisdom from the varied expertise and experience of Atlanta-based teacher and founder of Johns Creek Yoga and Duluth Yoga, who has trained over 100 yoga teachers. You’ll dive into a deeper experience of your yoga practice and awaken a profound connection to your own soul. Come enjoy the astounding mountain views, Ayurvedic spa, hiking trails, nightly Kirtan, beautiful accommodations, and three vegetarian meals daily as you release, transform, and connect with nature and your inner self. Whether you’re a future yoga teacher or serious practitioner who would love to deepen your practice, this fulfilling retreat is for you.

 

In this retreat and yoga teacher training, you will:

You’ll leave with a deep understanding of yogic techniques and philosophies, a sense of connection to yourself, and 80 hours of credits toward your 200-hour certification.

 

This retreat is appropriate for future yoga teachers and practitioners with at least 6 months of experience.

Sheila Ewers

Sheila Ewers, E-RYT 500 and founder of Johns Creek Yoga and Duluth Yoga, has trained over 100 teachers in her career. Her studies include the Kripalu Yoga Center in Massachusetts, as well as certifications in Yoga Nidra and Thai Yoga Bodywork. She offers retreats both nationally and internationally. As a former Professor of American literature, she loves to explore the intersection between philosophy, poetry, religion, nature, and yoga and often brings that synthesis into her classes. She continues to take advantage of every opportunity to train and learn and will forever consider herself a student of this ancient and beautiful practice. For room reservations, spa retreats, and Art of Living Retreat Center (AOLRC) signature retreats, we have the following cancellation policy:

  • Refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to eight days before your program or stay.
  • Nonrefundable credit toward a future AOLRC program or stay (less a $50 processing fee) is available if you give notice between seven and one day(s) before your program or stay. Credit may be applied to any AOLRC program or stay for one year following date of issue.
  • No credit or refund is available if you cancel on the arrival day, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason. No refund will be available if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.  AOLRC reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If AOLRC cancels a program, you will receive a full refund.  Some programs may have special cancellation policies; see individual workshop descriptions.  For all other retreats, please be sure to check the registration page specific to that retreat.

To encourage a healthy environment we ask that guest to not consume alcohol or meat in our public spaces, however, guests may enjoy these items in their rooms.

Our property is always smoke-free.

Yes, we ask that guests with food allergies simply inform us so we can communicate those needs to our chef. Typically, we label potential allergens such as gluten, dairy, and nuts.
