Do you feel like you need to realign and refresh your body and nervous system so that you can feel grounded and stable, with a vibrant sense of wellbeing?

This whole system reset is for you. Using techniques informed by physical therapy, yoga movement and meditation, Laura Terry and Whitney Wilkerson will guide you through a multi-disciplinary approach to create awareness and ease in the body.

 

Over the course of the weekend you will:

  • Restore, soothe, strengthen and energize the body in movement classes, including yin yoga, restorative yoga, embodied movement and somatic exploration
  • Learn physical therapy techniques to reduce muscular tension
  • Develop resilience and steadiness through relaxation practices including mindfulness and Yoga Nidra

You will take home new knowledge of a set of practices and strategies to find balance in body and mind every day.

Open to all. This workshop may be of particular benefit to caregivers in need of R&R.

CEU credits can be offered to Yoga Alliance certified teachers.

Whitney Wilkerson

Whitney Wilkerson is a certified Positive Psychologist, Integrative Health Coach, and Gestalt Facilitator. She uses dialogue, movement, mindfulness and play to support clients in cultivating lives that are imbued with purpose, meaning and optimism.  Find out more at www.balancethroughmovement.com

Laura Terry

Laura Terry has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 20 years, and a yoga teacher for 10 years. She runs her own private practice offering Yoga and Physical Therapy, and she teaches regular workshops, classes, and continuing education courses.

*If a spa appointment is made during a Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, guests may request a meal to be boxed for pickup by asking spa reception.

**Meals are served during the following times – 7:30-9:30am for Breakfast, 12:00-2:00pm for Lunch, and 6:00-7:30pm for Dinner.  Food will be put away at the ending times, but the dining hall will remain open.

For room reservations & spa retreats, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
For all other retreats, please be sure to check the registration page specific to that retreat.

To encourage a healthy environment we ask that guest to not consume alcohol or meat in our public spaces, however guests may enjoy these items in their rooms. That being said our property is always smoke-free.

Yes, we ask that guests with food allergies simply inform us so we can communicate those needs to our chef. Typically we label potential allergens such as gluten, dairy and nuts.
