There is wisdom within you just waiting to be discovered.
Listening Deeply is a unique program brought to you by a team of experts who integrate ancient wisdom with modern medicine. Pioneers in their respective fields, their vast collective knowledge base spans clinical psychology and cardiology, to yoga therapy and meditation.
With this combined expertise you will be guided deeply within as you explore the power of listening closely to yourself, others, and the natural world. You will discover holistic approaches to understanding the self through traditional techniques and reflection on sacred texts, as well as perspectives from cutting-edge medical science.
Through mindful yoga practice, meditation, group sharing and outdoor meditative work, you will:
· Learn invaluable practices for listening deeply to your body, heart, and innate wisdom.
· Cultivate your ability to connect with others and with the environment.
· Discover the Relax Into Yoga approach. This gentle practice informed by traditional yogic teachings stretches and strengthens your body, quiets your cognition, enhances your energy and opens you to the lessons available from other people, and from the natural world.
· Begin to become aware of and listen to the abundant wisdom from subtle energies.
You will take home a sense of connection with the wisdom of listening deeply, and practices to continue your exploration beyond the retreat.
Open to all. The program will include gentle movement and short walking meditation. If you have physical limitations that will affect your ability to participate in these activities please let us know in advance.
