REnew your body, REfresh your mind, REconnect to your spirit in a transformational weekend!

Whether you are experiencing an accumulation of stress, excess weight, relationship challenges, an illness, or simply want to improve your level of well being, the workshop provides the tools you need to increase vitality, release the things that are holding you back, and take your life to the next level.

The Practical Guide to Ayurvedic Health dives into the ancient science of Ayurveda to introduce you to a whole new way of achieving optimal wellbeing. Ayurveda is a 5000 year old system of healing that originated in ancient India. It is based upon the premise that consciousness is the underlying realm of existence which gives rise to our body, mind, and soul. In order to access our deepest potential we must learn to tap into the field of consciousness and mindfully direct its intelligent energy. Ayurveda is a roadmap which leads us to the field of consciousness and teaches us how to utilize the vibrant potential contained within so that we might express health, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment.

This weekend workshop presents the essential aspects of Deepak Chopra’s Perfect Health Program offered at weekly at The Chopra Center for Wellbeing.

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn about six distinct aspects of Ayurveda:
1. Patanjali’s Eight Fold Path of Yoga
2. Foundation of Ayurveda
3. The Ayurvedic Diet
4. How to Live in Harmony with Nature
5. The Five Healers (using the senses to heal body and mind)
6. Conscious Communication

You will return home with tools to transform your life!

All levels welcome

You don’t have to wait until you arrive to begin your wellness journey! The following steps will prepare your body, mind, and soul for optimal renewal:

  • Simplify your diet (replace greasy, heavy, fried, and processed foods with whole, organic, natural foods).
  • Alert friends and family that you will be unavailable (except for emergency) during your weekend workshop.
  • Book your Ayurvedic treatment time with the Shankara Spa at the Art of Living Retreat Center.
  • Get clear on your intentions. In order to get the most out of your weekend, ask yourself, “What do I really want from this experience?” Write down your answer.
  • Ask yourself what you need to let go of in order to be fully present at your retreat. This can take the form of work related tasks, fears about how everything/everyone will manage without you, financial concerns, etc. Let go of anything that could possibly distract you while you are doing the important job of nurturing yourself.
  • Be open to the unknown. This retreat is a beautiful opportunity to get to know yourself, your goals, and your ideals better. Be open to the unexpected.

Together we will REnew, REvitalize, and REfresh!
