It’s been over a decade since smart technology was first brought into our homes, but sometimes it hardly feels as if we’re any smarter. Between the 24/7 news cycles, the constant “plugged in” nature of current reality, and the normal day-to-day pressures of life, it can feel for many of us as if we’ve lost our mental edge. As “connected” as our society has become, it’s amazing just how disconnected we sometimes feel—not only from each other, but also our authentic selves.
This program is intended to help you reclaim a sense of inner space and calm in these chaotic times. Come take a few days in nature to unplug, recenter, and learn insightful and practical strategies which will help you regulate the technology in your life. Leave feeling like you have more time and space to be you.
We’ll explore practices of mindfulness, self-awareness, and self-care in a relaxed, loving, and immersive atmosphere. Using specific tools such as meditation, journal prompts, visualization exercises, and voice dialogue, you and other participants will plumb to the depths of your inner wisdom and learn how to create healthy boundaries with modern technology.
This program is open to people from all walks of life. Join us to discover a renewed connection with your true grounded self.

 

About the Teachers


Kelly Carlin

Kelly is an author, performer, radio host, and workshop leader who has spent more than twenty years immersed in the study and practice Buddhist philosophy. She’s on a mission to end the glorification of busy. With a Masters in Counseling Psychology, focusing on Jungian theory, Kelly has been able to inspire her clients and community to empower themselves through mindful presence, self-exploration, and life lived authentically.
