Journey into the deep chambers of the Self to illuminate the shadows, identify patterns, and expose the ways in which you are limiting your full potential.
The development of the psyche is a continuous and lifelong process. Working with the chakras is a practical route to healing as they are inextricably connected with our true Self, and with the sense of self that we create over the course of our lives.
In this immersive workshop, you will be able to rewrite old stories, reveal unmet needs, seek empowerment from past wounds, and transform the workings of your psyche.
Through a combination of narrative psychology, meditation, yoga asana and philosophy, pranayama, and journaling, you will:
- Use the chakras as a map to explore the Self and facilitate profound healing
- Witness old wounds, trauma and grief from a new perspective – and create new and empowering narratives with which to move forward in life
- Examine each chakra and its correlating stage and age of development
- Identify behaviors which are no longer useful, and learn how to create new and more effective strategies
You will go home with the skills needed to insightfully and compassionately reframe previously limiting beliefs, and therefore change your way of seeing and being in the world.
Items to bring: Yoga mat (or we can provide one), a journal, and comfortable walking shoes.
Open to all, but may be of particular interesting to helping professionals.
Yoga Alliance CE credits available.
