Overview

Dive into the richness of yoga through mindful movements, heart-opening discussions, and a peaceful time for reflection atop the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Join Roger McKeever, E-RYT 500, and Val Spies, E-RYT 500, two dynamic teachers who bring more than two decades of teaching experience, exuberance, and compassion to their retreats and yoga trainings. They have curated a weekend retreat designed to inspire depth, whole-heartedness, and grace both on your yoga mat and in your life.

Each day begins with a beautiful sunrise yoga practice designed to uplift, energize, and find peace within, with mornings and afternoons centered in philosophy, meditation and heart-opening practices.

This retreat combines dynamic asana to open the body, uplifting dharma talks, guided meditations and activities to lead you into the pulsing intelligence of the heart. You will learn how to bring another level to your yoga practice by drawing into your heart center and radiating that vibrant awareness back outward to the world.

Leave with an open heart, a deeper connection to the Self, and a refined skilfulness in asana alignment in order to attune to the energetic qualities of various yoga poses.

Open to all students of yoga and yoga teachers! Due to the nature of practicing dynamic yoga sequences, we recommend students are in fairly good physical condition – options are always offered in the yoga classes, from gentler variations to advanced.

Yoga teachers and teachers in training are eligible for credit hours through Yoga Alliance (YA and YACEP certified). See Registration below for additional options to stay longer and receive deeper trainings for yoga teachers. This promises to be a joyful and insightful journey!
