Chip Conley

Chip Conley is a sought-after speaker, best-selling author, and thought leader who has delivered three TED Talks with over 6 million views. He is the author of seven books, including the bestseller Learning to Love Midlife: 12 Reasons Why Life Gets Better With Age. A graduate of Stanford University with both a BA and an MBA, Chip has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, among other major media outlets.

A hospitality entrepreneur and visionary, Chip founded Joie de Vivre Hospitality, which grew into the second-largest boutique hotel company in the U.S., and later served as Airbnb’s Head of Global Hospitality and Strategy, mentoring the company’s young co-founders as their “modern elder.” He is also the founder of the Modern Elder Academy, the world’s first midlife wisdom school, with campuses in Baja and Santa Fe, NM.
