Born in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh in India, Kamlesh has a degree in Business Administration. She turned to the Art of Living Foundation to find a means of dealing with the stress, anxiety, and challenges that her college years brought. But, what began as a mere practice for a healthy body and relaxed mind, soon became a lifestyle and there was no looking back.

Known for her graceful asana practice, her classes blend simplicity, fun, humor, and well-explained yoga philosophy and knowledge. She has also directed and acted in many yoga videos and tutorial films.

Since 2005, Kamlesh has coordinated International Women’s Conferences, bringing together thousands of women leaders to deliberate and discuss ways for strengthening women and bringing to light their contributions and achievements, and has been actively supporting the cause of Girl Child Education for many years.
