Roda Ahmed is a Norwegian author born in Hargeisa, Somalia. Roda is the bestselling author of Forberedelsen (The Preparations) and in 2018 she published her first bestselling children’s book, Mae Among the Stars, with HarperCollins about the first African-American woman in space.
Roda has written more than 12 children’s books and is the founder and CEO of Hightree Publishing, a boutique children’s publishing house that focuses on children’s books that inspires kids and opens up their minds to new ideas and faces they normally wouldn’t see.
