Suzanne Sifri is an Ayurvedic practitioner with more than 3,700 hours of academic and clinical training through the California College of Ayurveda. She works individually with clients to treat both acute and chronic conditions to bring balance to the body, mind, and spirit using an Ayurvedic diet, herbal support, sensory and body therapies, pranayama, daily routines, and self-care rituals to optimize the body’s ability to heal itself. Suzanne is also a certified hatha and yin yoga instructor and enjoys weaving the wisdom of Ayurveda and yoga together in her work.
Suzanne received her BS in Biology from the Honors College of Charleston. On her way to complete a Western medical degree, something deeply called her toward the wisdom of Eastern healing. Upon discovering Ayurveda, Suzanne was excited to find a natural approach to health that addressed the whole self. While Suzanne sees Western and Eastern medicine as complementary, Ayurveda’s focus on healing the root cause of disease is better aligned with her beliefs about health and wellness.
Suzanne is a passionate Ayurvedic educator and enjoys empowering others with accessible tools that practically and significantly improve the quality of daily life. She has designed and taught multi-week online Ayurvedic education programs, led Ayurvedic group cleanses, served as an Ayurvedic tutor through the California College of Ayurveda, and collaborated with other health-care professionals to offer innovative wellness workshops to the community.
