Charleene Closshey

Charleene Closshey is a modern sonic alchemist whose work bridges music, science, and embodied spirituality. A classically trained, multi-instrumentalist composer and Billboard Top 40 artist, she has spent decades exploring sound not only as art, but as a living language that speaks directly to the nervous system, the heart, and the inner landscape.
Her work draws from classical musicology, spiritual science, quantum science, and frequency research, translating complex principles into immersive, experiential practices. Charleene is the creator of The Archetypes of Sound™, a framework exploring how musical relationships correspond to emotional and somatic states, and how sound can be used consciously to support coherence, presence, and creative vitality.
Her pioneering exploration of chromatic crystal singing bowls, voice, and ritual sound has reached millions worldwide and continues to inform emerging research conversations around sound and perception. This inquiry is shaped by her Ph.D. doctoral studies in Natural Medicine researching frequency, her collaboration with acoustic-physics scientist & CymaScope inventor John Stuart Reid, and her work with BioGeometry® founder Dr. Ibrahim Karim.
A seasoned performer and award-winning composer, Charleene has appeared on Broadway, in major films, and on stages around the world. Today, as a TEDx speaker and faculty member with The Shift Network, she guides immersive sound experiences that invite participants to listen inward, reclaim agency, and awaken the intelligence of the heart.
