Meggan Watterson

Meggan Watterson is a feminist theologian, spiritual teacher, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Mary Magdalene Revealed. She holds a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.

Meggan is the founder of The House of Mary Magdalene, a spiritual community devoted to exploring sacred texts excluded from the traditional canon and practicing her signature Soul-Voice Meditation—a method of turning inward to hear the voice of the soul.

Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, HuffPost, TEDxWomen, and Marie Claire. Her latest book, The Girl Who Baptized Herself, was praised by Glennon Doyle in ELLE as “the book that kept me up way too late.”

Meggan’s teachings weave together scholarship, embodiment, and mysticism to help others reclaim the divine voice within.
