Brain Insight
Understand, in accessible language, the brain rhythms and networks researchers have observed alongside psychic and intuitive experiences.
What if psychic and intuitive experiences are less about having a rare gift and more about learning to access a different state of mind? In this immersive workshop with psychologist, neuroscientist, and Becoming Psychic author Dr. Jeff Tarrant, you’ll explore what brain research reveals about intuitive states, then experience those ideas for yourself. Through NeuroMeditation, light and sound stimulation, qigong, blindfold vision, psychokinesis, and other guided experiments, you’ll learn how quieter mental activity, focused attention, and expanded awareness may influence perception. No prior experience is needed, only curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and an open mind grounded in honest observation.

Brain Insight
Understand, in accessible language, the brain rhythms and networks researchers have observed alongside psychic and intuitive experiences.
Intuitive Discernment
Build a more balanced relationship with unusual experiences by combining curiosity, direct observation, feedback, and healthy skepticism.
Expanded Awareness
Learn to recognize the mental and physical qualities associated with quieter, more open states of consciousness and intuitive perception.
Mental Quiet
Experience practices designed to reduce inner narration and create more space for focused, receptive awareness.
Psychic Confidence
Gain firsthand experience with structured intuitive exercises so you can explore your abilities through practice rather than assumption.
Embodied Grounding
Develop practical ways to return to your body, regulate your nervous system, and remain steady while exploring expanded states.
Rather than asking you to accept extraordinary claims, this workshop gives you space to investigate your own experience. As the weekend unfolds, you’ll become more familiar with how shifts in attention, brain state, movement, and nervous-system regulation affect what you perceive and how you respond. You’ll experiment, observe, receive feedback, and notice which conditions help you feel more open, focused, or intuitive without sacrificing stability or critical thinking. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of what works for you, a grounded framework for continued exploration, and practical ways to support calm, focus, and expanded awareness in daily life.
Explore focus, quiet-mind, and open-awareness meditation styles matched to specific attention patterns and intuitive states.
Experience rhythmic light and sound designed to shift brain activity toward calmer, more receptive states of awareness.
Use gentle movement, breath, and body awareness to strengthen focus, regulate energy, and remain grounded during expanded experiences.
Experiment with structured attempts to perceive visual information without ordinary sight and receive feedback on what you experience.
Direct focused intention toward small physical objects through guided exercises designed for hands-on observation and exploration.
Use reflection, journaling, and settling practices to process what you experience and return to everyday awareness with greater stability.
No. The workshop is designed for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. You only need curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
No. We treat psychic ability as a brain state that can be explored and practiced, and everyone will find their own way in.
No. We offer structured practice, brain science, and honest feedback, and results vary from person to person. Many participants also find that the focus, calm, and body awareness they build are valuable on their own.
Yes. The program draws on research into the brains of psychics and mediums, along with neuroscience of meditation. We share what the research shows and are clear about what is still unknown.
It is the attempt to perceive visual information while blindfolded. You will practice it in structured exercises with feedback, and participation is always optional.
The stimulation uses gentle, rhythmic flicker viewed with eyes closed. People with epilepsy or light sensitivity should tell us beforehand and can opt out of the strobe activities, and anyone can stop at any time.
Wear comfortable clothing that lets you sit and move easily, and bring a journal. Please confirm any other items with the retreat center.
It is not tied to any belief system. It combines science and practice, and people of any background are welcome.
