Miranda Esmonde-White

Miranda Esmonde-White is one of North America’s leading advocates for healthy aging and lifelong mobility, and the creator of the Essentrics® technique, a dynamic full-body approach designed to strengthen, stretch, rebalance, and recondition the body while supporting greater mobility, reduced pain, and overall well-being.
A classically trained ballerina and former member of the National Ballet of Canada, Miranda has spent decades studying the relationship between movement, mobility, and healthy aging. Her work has reached millions worldwide, from Olympic athletes and celebrities to people simply wanting to remain strong, mobile, and active throughout their lives.

Miranda is also the author of Aging Backwards, a New York Times and Globe and Mail bestseller that inspired the award-winning PBS documentary of the same name. Through her books, television programs, classes, and workshops, she continues to help people better understand their bodies and experience the lasting benefits of intelligent, accessible movement.
