Rachel Mann, Ph.D.

Rachel Mann, Ph.D., shamanic healer and spiritual teacher, is the founder of the Great Medicine Wheel of the New Earth School of Mother Earth Mysticism. Strongly influenced by Western shamanism, Cherokee teachings of peace, Vipasanna Buddhism, Peruvian wisdoms, and depth psychology, her teachings are love-based and inspirational, grounded in compassionate, real-world practice. She is a faculty member at Atlantic University, founded by Edgar Cayce, and designed and teaches their course on shamanism in the MA in Transpersonal Psychology program. Former faculty member at the University of Virginia, she taught courses on violence, trauma, peace, spirituality, and healing. She has studied with Alberto Villoldo in the Four Winds Society Healing the Light Body School and offers both online and in-person classes and retreats for personal and spiritual growth and powerful transformation of trauma.
