Candace A. Jennings, RYT-500, comes to the yoga community with more than 40 years of experience in theatre, dance, and arts education. She used yoga to recover from paralysis after spinal surgery. The practice helped her to develop more stability and confidence in her body, becoming her therapy, her strengthening practice, and her hope. Since then, Candace has trained in Restorative Yoga Training for Race Based Trauma with Dr. Gail Parker, and she is a Level 2 Certified Thai Yoga practitioner for In Touch Thai Yoga, LLC. She also co-leads teacher trainings and retreats with IAMYOGA.
