Dr. Ginger Garner, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT, DipACLM, PYT, has been a champion of using yoga as lifestyle medicine in healthcare and health promotion for 25 years. She is a licensed doctor of physical therapy, licensed athletic trainer, yoga therapist, and is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
She has spent her multi-decade career creating best-fit practices in Lifestyle Medicine through the lens of yoga in women’s health and orthopaedics, founding one of the first integrative physical therapy practices in the US in the late 1990’s. She is the founder and executive director of Professional Yoga Therapy Institute®, which she started in 2001 to tackle healthcare reform through offering continuing education in integrative, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
