Cultivate Embodied Presence
Join us for a transformative weekend retreat designed to embrace the beauty of accelerated change in both our individual lives and the world around us.
Led by Rochelle Schieck, the creator and certified teacher of Qoya, who brings over 14 years of experience refining Qoya Inspired Movement as a practice nurturing our wise, wild and free essence—we will explore our personal relationship with trust and transformation.
Through an array of practices, we’ll delve into the art of cultivating embodied presence, using Qoya Inspired Movement—a fusion of meditation, yoga, free-form dance, and intuitive movement—to connect deeply with our inner truth and resonance.
Experience the profound power of opening ourselves to nature, making offerings, and listening to its wisdom and guidance. Together, we’ll harvest the collective wisdom within our circle through partner and group sharing, fostering a deeper sense of trust in ourselves and the unfolding of life’s transformations.
This workshop is a journey toward a more profound sense of self-trust and trust in life as we navigate the path of transformation.
Connect with nature to reflect your authentic nature, embracing the importance of integrating the voice of the body and the consciousness of nature into your daily life.
Through movement classes, nature-based rituals, partner and community sharing, and skills to deepen your body’s communication,
- Awaken your intuitive body through daily Qoya-inspired movement
- Deepen your connection with nature’s consciousness
- Reconnect with your heart
- Make offerings to nature and life, invoking gratitude and support on the journey to wholeness
- Develop a daily movement practice to nourish your trust in transformation
- Rediscover the flame in your heart within a warm-hearted community.
You’ll take home the invaluable skill of slowing down and listening to the wisdom of your body for more connection to yourself and the natural world.
This retreat welcomes everyone at all levels.

To encourage a healthy environment we ask that guests not consume alcohol or meat in our public spaces, however, guests may enjoy these items in their rooms.
Our property is always smoke-free.
Yes, we ask that guests with food allergies simply inform us so we can communicate those needs to our chef. Typically, we label potential allergens such as gluten, dairy, and nuts.
We do have lodging and event venues that are ADA-compliant. Due to the topography of our mountain campus, some are easier to access than others, so please speak to Guest Services (800.392.6870) prior to registering to ensure we can best accommodate your needs. We also have shuttles that run frequently throughout the campus.
We are committed to the safety of our guests and staff. Our mountaintop location and the surrounding areas are spacious, remote, safe, and secure.
- It is safe to leave your windows open—and necessary for proper airflow!
- Nature surrounds our campus, and it’s common to see rabbits, deer, gophers, wild turkeys, and other small animals. Please give them space, and they’ll do the same for you. We’ve never had a safety incident with animals on campus.
You can help!
- If you come across an animal on campus or a trail, give it space, and please do not attempt to pet or feed it.
- There’s no need to bring valuables to the retreat center; leaving them at home is best.
