Features
First, we'll determine your unique elemental constitution (dosha). Then, we'll identify imbalances and craft a wellness plan specific to your needs.
Ayurveda principles are based on the five elements: ether, air, fire, water, and earth. These elements work well in pairs—vata (ether and air), pitta (fire and water) and kapha (water and earth)—which is where we get doshas or constitutions. Each person has a unique elemental constitution, similar to how we think of genetic makeup in Western medicine. Once you determine your dosha and identify imbalances, you'll learn how to adjust them with diet and lifestyle choices that create an environment conducive to healing.
You'll be introduced to easy, accessible, and sustainable changes can make a big impact on your strength, energy, and overall vitality.
Do you feel completely exhausted? Do you have menses issues or are you experiencing difficulties as you transition into menopause? Whatever your needs and goals may be pertaining to health, you must take into consideration your dosha and constitution needs regarding diet and lifestyle. Easy, accessible, and sustainable changes can make a big impact on your strength, energy, and overall vitality.
Once you’ve identified what your elemental makeup is, you'll begin to recognize food or lifestyle practices that may be causing your hormones to become unbalanced and easily take corrective action.
Ayurveda looks at hormones differently than Western medicine by considering them the fire element which is carried by the blood in the tissues. Diet and lifestyle can bring good and bad women’s health changes to the blood and tissues. For example, if there is already a build up of fire in a woman’s constitution, eating spicy food could worsen menstruation and cramps. Once you’ve identified what your elemental makeup is, you will begin to recognize food or lifestyle practices that may be causing your hormones to become unbalanced and easily take corrective action.
Ayurveda allows you to build a custom diet based on your unique constitution that is conducive to your body and your specific goals.
It can be frustrating when you devote a lot of time and effort to eating healthy and do not see any results in your weight or health. No one diet works for everyone, every person is unique in their response to food and diet. Once you learn your specific constitution and imbalances, Ayurveda allows you to build a custom diet that is conducive to your body and your specific goals.
Many people consider only food when they think about a healthy lifestyle. However, there are habits that can either create healing or great turmoil within our bodies. For example, not waking up before sunrise can create excessive drowsiness or result in excessive mucus build up in some individuals. Every woman is unique—they have different imbalances, are at different stages of life, and should adopt lifestyle habits that are unique to their needs. This program helps you determine those imbalances and habits to adjust and gives you the tools to easily make real changes in your health.
Not only does Ayurveda have the power to help get your body get back into balance, it also has practices and herbs that naturally help to slow down aging and even regenerate cells!
Not only does Ayurveda have the power to help get your body get back into balance, it can also naturally help to slow down—and even reverse—the process in which cells degenerate (decline) as you get older. There are certain Ayurveda dietary and lifestyle practices, as well as herbs, that can reduce the symptoms of aging by regenerating cells. By better understanding our doshic (similar to our genetic) makeup, and taking care of our bodies inside and out, we can age gracefully, naturally.
