Join us for a weekend of deep healing, transformation, bliss, and pampering with Women’s Health—an authentic Ayurveda-based program that will teach you simple, timeless, and sustainable daily wellness practices for greater health and happiness during the transitional phases of life.

Ayurveda’s healing wisdom emphasizes the natural wellness of the inner and outer body. It has many important and useful treatments and practices that can help women find their body’s rhythm, support prenatal and postnatal reproductive health, and manage changes in the body from puberty to menopause.

In this program, you’ll explore

  • The physiological, emotional, and spiritual dynamics of womanhood
  • Detoxification to improve skin conditions, regulate bowels, aid digestion
  • Stress, female hormones, and their role in woman’s positive health

  • Menopause management

  • The role of diet on mental and physical health
  • Holistic self-care practices.

The practices of Ayurveda focus on balancing body, mind, and spirit. They include disciplines such as massage, meditation, yoga, diet, herbal medicine, nourishing oils, and unique healing treatments that integrate science and nature perfectly. It’s principles are founded on keeping the mind and body in tune with nature—making it the perfect solution for managing weight, the aging process, stress, and more.

Our expert faculty have crafted an educational, fun, and relaxing interactive retreat experience to de-stress, rebalance, and reclaim your vibrancy. Once you are in sync with nature the Ayurvedic way, well-being falls into place, naturally.

A Retreat in the Mountains

During your stay, you have time for personal R & R also. Whether you want to explore forest trails and bask in the fresh mountain air, enjoy a pottery or watercolor painting class, release stress with a therapeutic spa treatment, the choice is yours. (Additional fees may apply.)

Make Your Retreat Extra Special

Combine your retreat with authentic Ayurveda for rejuvenation on all levels, body, mind and spirit. The recommended Ayurveda treatment for this retreat is an Abhyanga massage (“Abby” for short), followed by a relaxing steam to further release stress.

Consider deepening your experience by scheduling a virtual Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation prior to the program.  In order to support you during today’s challenging times,  we’ve reduced the fee for this evaluation by 30% for a limited time. An experienced Ayurvedic practitioner will conducts an in-depth doshic evaluation to determine what your natural state of being is and identify your imbalances.

This is not a pre-recorded program where you watch videos and try to keep up. These are live-streaming, interactive sessions with the same expert faculty you’d experience on our campus. You will have ample opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, participate in discussion, and connect with fellow participants.

Kimberly Rossi

Kimberly Rossi has been studying, practicing, and teaching Vedic science—Ayurveda, yoga, pranayama, and meditation—since 1998.  Her passion is sharing the teachings, making things easy to follow, and empowering people to make positive lifestyle changes, so one may be happy, healthy, and whole—the best version of themselves and creators of the best life possible. Her professional career has been leading wellness-based businesses in four and five star destinations around the world for more than 25 years. Currently, she is the Director of Business Development at the Art of Living Retreat Center and Shankara Ayurveda Wellness.

Vaidya Nisha Manikantan

Ayurvedic Doctor Nisha Manikantan is an Ayurveda dietetics expert and wellness and lifestyle advisor. Her research and writing has highlighted the immense power of this traditional medical system. Vaidya Manikantan is the current Chief Consultant for the Cancer and Diabetes Care Program at the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research. She travels the world raising awareness of Ayurveda and teaching others how to improve their lifestyles—and their health—with its ancient knowledge.

Retreat Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to eight days before your program. 
 

Nonrefundable credit toward a future AOLRC program or stay (less a $50 processing fee) is available if you give notice between seven and one day(s) before your program or stay. Credit may be applied to any AOLRC program or stay for one year following the date of issue.

No credit or refund will be given if you cancel on the program start date, if you do not show up, or if you do not complete the program. No refund will be given if you attend a program and are dissatisfied with its presentation or content.
 
AOLRC reserves the right to cancel a program at any time. If AOLRC cancels a program, you will receive a full refund. Some programs may have special cancellation policies; see individual workshop descriptions.

To encourage a healthy environment we ask that guest to not consume alcohol or meat in our public spaces, however guests may enjoy these items in their rooms. That being said our property is always smoke-free.

Yes, we ask that guests with food allergies simply inform us so we can communicate those needs to our chef. Typically we label potential allergens such as gluten, dairy and nuts.

Your program is hosted on Zoom. In order to participate, you will need one of the following:

  • Computer: Windows or Mac computer with speakers and a microphone. (Note: Webcams are recommended but not required.)
  • Mobile Device: iOS or Android 
  • Phone: mobile, desk or landline.
